I got this rifle just yesterday ,it is sweet and I like it the short 16.5 inch barrel with the big loop is what I wanted

Prophet River was excellent once again

The rifle was expensive because of our Dollar

What I don't like is the finish on the receiver and barrel it has this matte whatever I think it may scratch easy

I do believe it will be sent to get a high polished blueing job done

The fit and function is excellent

I love the 336 Marlin and I like the 1894 marlin action but I do not love it .I went with Henry as I had all sorts of small problems with the 94 Marlin

I had at least 6 1894 rifles all are gone and I had the older all pre rem rifles

I sure hope this thing shoots ,Marlins do shoot as I collect Marlins with 20 in my stable
