I’m strongly considering picking up a level gun, probably a Henry or a Marlin in .357 but came across the Henry Lever Action Supreme on the internet. Seems pretty slick! If the BLR took AR mags I probably could have already picked one up. I like .223/5.56, have the reloading gear, it’s easy to come across and it’ll kill deer and possibly even black bears. .300BLK is really tempting as well.

Anyone care to share some thoughts on this? Any idea when it might turn up in Canada?

I am also waiting for one to hit Canada. My guess we won’t see them until late next year.

In shotshow media they were saying the guns would be out in a month or two. They aren't even on the Henry website and I haven't seen anything new since.

Definitely interested in the enclosed bolt design, would be cool to see in bigger chamberings

I’m surprised it’s been that long in the states. You’d think they would want to capitalize on the Shotshow interest / marketing. I wonder if there was an issue with the patents or production.

Had to look it up...

Iron sights would be nice. Looks like a pretty handy little thing. I keep thinking I should go back to a Ruger Gunsight Scout in .223 or .308 but I like the quickness of a lever.

Yea, I've been keeping an eye out for these since seeing them from Shot Show.

Nothing yet on their web page, and no one over there wants to answer any questions about them.

I did end up getting a 223 long ranger express, but didn't like the way the bolt was engaging on the live rounds. Seemed very tight, and you had to really slam that lever to get any consistency out of it. Never did loosen up after 100 or so rounds either, so she went to greener pastures.

Hopefully the supreme has a better bolt lockup design with the non protruding bolt.

Have you reached out to Henry?

Wallz that's disappointing, I've been thinking of getting a 223 long ranger but I haven't looked at one in person and there isn't much on them online besides paid reviews

Tikka: Yea I emailed henry months back to try and get some kind of twist info for the barrel. They wrote back with no pertinent info.

conor_90: Don't tell me about disappointing on that long ranger.

Hopefully they figure out the snag on the supreme and start knocking some of those out soon, as I'm really wanting a lever 223.

I'm not much of a lever action fan but I'm really looking forward to these supreme rifles, I think they will be fun and accurate guns, I have hundreds of AR mags and I can load .223 in bulk so for me it's an easy choice.

If they come with iron sights I'd like to have a look.
Just can't get myself interested in a lever without them. Kinda neuters it's ability imo
