Does the Henry X Model come with a scope rail when bought new? Can't figure out if I need to order a scope rail or not and wondering if any of you who purchased one could let me know.

No, but the receiver comes drilled and tapped.

I can't locate a scope base in Canada, would anyone know where I could order or purchase the picatinny rail for it?

They’re so common I don’t want to single out one retailer.
The problem I suspect is that you’re most likely searching for an “X Model” rail — instead search for a “Big Boy” rail — same thing.

Seems everywhere I look the picatinny rail is out of stock or just offers the one piece scope base.

Here’s one from a site sponsor — it says 3 in stock.
The rail for the X model is the same as the current (2nd generation) Big Boy.

If you’re looking for one that mounts flat on the receiver, then that might be harder to find.
EGW makes one but they no longer ship directly to Canada.
Maybe someone else can chime in on that.

I just received mine today direct from Henry. Ordered it December 29 and it shipped the next day. Spent 2 weeks at customs and arrived literally 2 hours ago. Cost was $27 USD plus $11 shipping.
