Henry mares leg carbine

Hey guys,I have been looking lately for a nice compact 22lr for pack use and genral carry when out roaming and really like the look of the mares leg.Anybody know where to get one for a good deal and what dealers are reputable?thinking about adding a full length stock to it,make a real nice bush carbine,anyway tell me what you think.

I just got one off of the EE for a very reasonable price. Hopefully it arrives before the weekend am pretty excited.

Also plan to put a full length stock on it, several others have done the same. Another member made an attachment to extend the existing "mares leg".

I also plan to put a flip up tang site on it, apparently Marbles makes one but I gotta get the gun first. Perhaps I can drill and tap it for a cheaper Lyman #2. Or could go with a Skinner peep site but I like the look of a flip up tang site on lever guns. Either way it should be easier to shoot accurately with a longer site raduis which is a limiting factor on short barreled guns.
