there is Italian made version for cheaper but Id really like to see these here even at the MSRP price
It beautiful. Umberti makes a copy. On the Henry one I read some comments on TruthaboutGuns that give me pause. Doesn't matter as I cannot spend $2300+ on it anyway.

mite be pricey but try finding a original 1860 henry when you do look at the price tag

has somebody posted this in north sylvas forum , as far as i know they are the only distributor brining in henry rifles
Not a rock-solid source, but this site claims they 'were far too expensive ($45 to $65 each) to be issued in large numbers during the Civil War':

Not exactly 'cheap' at $1300. Unless a reproduction is considerably less, one should probably go with the original.
Fair point. I suppose not much is 'original' these days. A little slow sometimes, I was a little bummed to read the current Triumph Motorcycles are made likely anywhere else other than GB.
My point is that for collector's value, the Henry, wherever made, is still a name that will likely hold it's value over that of a manufacturer known for knocking out replicas.
