Henry Rifles

I'm not sure when more are coming. I don't know if it is true but someone said their plant was flooded out during hurricane Katrina.

Close...Tropical storm Sandy. I'm on their mailing list, and we all got notice recently that they were up to finishing and shipping 1000 rifles a month now, after having repaired much of the damage to their facilities. Although maybe that's not so many considering the US market!

For what it's worth, I received this note from Tom Kotz at Henry, back in May:

"Our guns are headed North as I write this, however, not much production/shipping on Mare’s Legs as we try to catch up to the centerfire rifles. We’ll have more headed your way in summer but there is no way of providing a firm eta as I have no way of knowing what is allocated to your dealer. I ship to the importer."

Received my Beautiful Henry Lever Action .22 today via Canada Post. Fantastic service from Cabela's. The rifle is a work of art - beautifully made. Can't wait to fire it!

After recieving my 22 mag Henry Octogonal from SFCR, i shot it and was really impress by the craftmanship and the outstanding accuracy of that Henry rifle, they were unknown to me before.... Guess what i ordered a Big Boy 357 mag From Prophet and i will be going after a 30-30 full brass in my future buys.... JP.

I didn't know they would ship to our homes

Cabela's uses Canada Post for regular shipping and UPS for expedited. I placed my order on the 10th - it shipped on the 12th and I received it (actually, my wife received it) on the 16th. Pretty impressive I think! All Canada Post required was proof of age of the person signing for the package... Pretty simple! Freight was $20... Great deal!

Not sure if it's proper to discuss this on a dealer forum but since everyone else is, and SFRC's not currently stocking -- i just bought a Henry Lever Youth 22lr for my son a few weeks ago, very nice.

With 13" LOP and 16" bbl makes a decent pack gun too.

Still one left in stock (as of this writing) at one of the site sponsors with a banner above -- same initials as "Equipment Exchange".

Canadian Tire in Ormocto N.B. has x1 Henry 22 carbine as of yesterday. I would have scored it if it had the large loop.

Anyone know of any All-Weather 45-70's available up here yet and possibly what they're retailing for? I'm looking to buy one just need to know how much cash I need to save up lol
