Henry rifling

I would expect from the bottom of one groove to the bottom of the groove opposite. Like any barrel with an even number of grooves.
Nice clean cut looking muzzle.

Well the idea is to avoid gas flow past the riding bands of the bullet. So I'm thinking that the groove diameter would be one deepest corner right at the base of one of the ridges to the opposite corner at the base of the opposite ridge.

So why this kind of rifling over conventional, is this for lead bullets by any chance.
I have been making barrels for the past few years and have rifled a lot of them with conventional 6 groove rifling with great results.

My understanding of Henry rifling is that it had been experimented with at one point same as other types with no advantages over conventional but worked very good with paper patched bullets.

What is the intended chambering for this barrel with Henry rifling?
