Just picked up a Henry H015 SS in 243.
To mount a scope I also picked up their scope rail for the single shot rifles.
As it turns out the mount screws are to long to hold the mount.
It is either that or the mounting holes are not drilled and tapped deep enough or the screws are to long.
I have shorter screws but they only engage about 3 and a1/2 turns.
I am wondering if anybody else has had this problem with the rifles.
I also have the Henry SS slug gun and the mounting holes are deeper and have a EGW mount installed.
After looking at both mounts they are the same.
I have sent Henry a email but as of yet not heard back from them.
