hensoldt wetzlar diasta d

I have aquired this old hensoldt wetzlar diasta-d scope at the Clagary show. Does anybody have any knowledge about it? It seems to be very good quality, it's a 6-42. I'm not sure what I'm gonna put it on, but I'll find something.

Who makes good 26mm rings, and where can you get them?

They are a division of Zeiss now. I have a couple of them, good scopes, high quality. Were more common in the 60s and early 70s then lately. If you Google them you will find a lot more info, or the old scope book that came out a few years ago has some data on them as well. - dan

I tried google but it mostly came up with old for sale sites and some german language sites. I was trying to be specific maybe that was my problem. So, a nice custom mauser project is in order to create a home for this scope. I don't think I could put it on a rem 700.
