I was wondering if anyone out there could help me,I have a Hensoldt Diatal 6x42 with claw mounts.
There is only one turrent on the top of the scope with 4 small slotted screws under it,I have know idea how to adjust it.
Any help would be great. Thanks Reb

Hi Reb,
The turret on the top is your elevation dial. Does it have any increments marked on it? Most German scopes have a set screw that you loosen on the elevation turret so you can set the elevation you want and then tighten to lock it.
Windage was usually adjusted with the mount only, which had some sort of assembly that let you drift the back of the scope back and forth. A lot of European scope/mounts were set up this way prior to the '50's I believe. I have a WW2 era Zeiss Zielvier 4x that is exactly the same. I zeroed the scope at 100m and set the windage in the mount.

I have a 4x32 on a Mauser which is late '50's vintage. Problem is that the scope is seized. I can't make any adjustments. Anyone know anyone who refurbishes these scopes in Canada?
