Hello I have a hs. Model 21. I understand some of these came with .22 mag cylinders aswell. How do I know of mine would take a mag cylender or Not? If so where could I pick one Up? Thanks.

I'm sure that they would all accept the .22 magnum cylinder. Whether you got one or not depended on whether you purchased the revolver as a .22 LR only or as a combo. It would be rather pointless to manufacture two different revolvers with different specifications, considering how cheap they were.

Finding an orphan cylinder might require advertising for it and hoping that it worked well enough in your specific revolver. The factory cylinder would have been slightly over-length with respect to endplay and would have been hand fitted to each individual revolver. An orphan cylinder might:
1) work fine.
2) work fine after fitting.
3) have excessive endplay and require shims to work well.

If the latter, it would probably also have excessive cylinder to barrel flash gap, which you could do little about.

Depending on manufacture and wear, the timing might also be off as compared to your .22LR cylinder.

Not trying to be negative here, but you should be aware that a chance exists that it may or may not work well.

If you could find a new and unfitted cylinder somewhere (I don't know where) it could probably be easily fitted to the gun by a gunsmith.

I wouldn't spend any more money on one of those...pretty low grade revolvers. Last one I had I was happy to get $200 for it with both cylinders.

I'd say don't bother, unless you double bag on the hearing pro. I shot 5 22 mag thru one once, last time I ever do that. Snappy and sharp, that unpleasant deeeeeeeeeeeeee noise for a solid hour. Certainly worth having if you wanted to put a pig down, otherwise a 45 makes less noise. I could fill a pie plate at 100 with 22, 22 mag I think I hit it a couple of times. Also heard tell of cracked backstraps on these from extensive 22 mag firing, hearsay but likely some truth...

i have both lol, one stamped 22lr and one stamped 22 wmr, the wmr comes with the LR cylinder aswel, the mag cylinder fits kinda in the other pistol, doesnt rotate worth crap, but all fit the wmr pistol

not to high jack the post im looking for a set of grips for mine anyone know where i can get a set or ones from another gun that will fit them
