I know I was interested in finding out how long it was going to take to get through the different steps of the whole process. Here is how it worked out for me.
Completed CFSC and CRFSC courses January 29th 2011
Application received by CFO on January 31st
Course marks received February 28th (faxed to CFO same day)
Licence approved and issued March 11th
Licence received by mail March 18th
I had already purchased two pistols, transfers were applied for, 1 on March 18 and the other on the 19th. These were applied for by the current owners.
Transfers were approved and registration certificates were mailed out, one on March 23 and the other on March 25th.
ATT was applied for by my club yesterday March 31st.

So, it has taken two months to get this far! Not as bad as I had anticipated but still to long! For those of you starting this process, read the threads on how to shorten approval times. They work!! I knocked a minimum of 30 days of off my wait times!
Now I just am waiting on my ATT! I don't know how long this will take? But be sure I will let you all know the first day I get to go to the range with my guns!!!

LT-ATTs requested by clubs do not take more than a couple of weeks, three maybe (I'm using RA as an example.)

It has been a long enough haul already. Hopefully the ATT won't take to long.
I got a Browning International Medalist ll in 22LR for Bullseye shooting and a Tanfoglio Stock ll in 9mm. I'll have the Browning on Monday and should have the Tanfoglio by late next week!

wow, the BC CFO has impressed me again...

well, so did canada post i got my ATT in my mail box this morning, it was approved yesturday haha, i guess being in the same city helps :)

A step closer!!

Well as of today I have received both my registration certificates!! Called the CFO and my ATT is in process! Should be about another week or so. I picked up my Browning International Medalist .22LR and my Tanfoglio Stock ll, 9mm today. They are now safely tucked away in my safe. Another 10 fdays of so and I will be at the range using my own gear instaed of the club guns! It will have taken 2.5 months from completing the CRSC and CRFSC courses. It has been to long but honestly not as bad as I had thought it was going to be!!
