I’m always curious about the under 18 inch barrels . Barrels normally come in at slightly longer than your ordered length no? Doesn’t matter I guess if it’s factory produced with the intention of being cut and crowned

Do you get it electro penciled by the manufacture or anything?

I like these guns I’m just paranoid I guess, cool build. Would love to see a vid of it being shot at dusk. On NZ gun forums they call these “ bush pigs”

I ordered it from IBI at that length and it is marked by the threads, but due to setting headspace it is a the six o'clock so you cannot see it without taking it apart.

That’s awesome.

Do you need to modify the tikka to use a barrel nut? Or does it just screw right on?

Barrel screws right in without and action mods although getting the old one off was a pain in the nuts, you would think they welded the thing in with how tight it was so we had to do a relief cut at the shoulder to get some tension off, but after that it came off easily. Just used GO and NO Go gauges and tighten the barrel nut.
