It looks cool. Looks like a lot of work too. I gotta ask though, why the stock barrel? In my opinion a 16" bull barrel would look pretty good on that and it would shoot better too.

Thanks for the replys and making the pic bigger .It's all alluminum, actually not too bulky. The receiver area is 1.5" the rear stock is 1" thick. I have a gm 20" polished stainless barrel but I find it too heavy, so I put the stock one in.. I'm looking for a gm finned military barrel.This thing stoots alot beter than the wood stock. I think its because I have a much better hold with the ak copy pistol grip. Btw how did you made the pic bigger?.

Did you make a custom reciever, or is that just an aluminum shell for a Ruger?

Custom reciever, almost exact copy of the original one, just not angled down. Then I made the sides to hold the pistol grip and rear stock piece. If I get a few minuites later i could take it a part and take a pic of it apart.
