i like the concept but would definately opt for the heavy barrel and some colour other than the shiny aluminum.

The last pics hard to see but that is a 20" gm polished like chrome bull barrel.
This project will never be done. Haven't made the front forgrip yet. Haven't decided on the finish. Thinking of anodizing it flat black. I made the stock so I can change it. Welded up a folding stock out of tubes like an ace stock.

Nice job! What kind of red tape did you have to go through to build the reciver?

register it as a newly manufactured. It's one of the options on registry form. I am in the understanding you can make them for yourself but not other people without a licence.
