Thanks all. The table is an heirloom from my wifes grandmother. It doesn't look that bad in person. She wants to refinish it one day, but when she says we, she means me. And I'm lazy.

It does have a splatter of texture to it. I sprayed the base a desert tan, and mottled it with truck bed liner from about two feet. It covered just about right, and feels good too.
