Herret's grips

One of my friends gave me a beautiful set of Herret's anatomic walnut grips for my S&W 586. They fit my gun really well but I'm a Hogue rubber grip fan and user.
Any past experience with these? any comments?
I'd like to give him an equivalent gift for his firearms. How much do you think they're worth?

That's a set of Herrett Revolver Target grips, and shows the quality of the grips they make. I have a few sets on various guns, they make them to a tracing of your hand (relaxed and under pressure), so they fit very, very well. Not cheap by any means, but worth the money. - dan
