Herter's .223 Steel Cased Russian Ammo

Anyone here try this stuff?

It's got mixed reviews, some hate it, some love it so I was curious if anyone here has tried it. Even the sales rep at Cabela's was trying to talk me out of it. Said it sucked in ARs.

That is the American Cabelas. You won't get it here in Canada.

I've shot some of the .308 stuff and it worked well from what I could tell. I only shot at 50 yards but accuracy seemed decent for the price and every round went bang and ejected from an M14. I've never seen it for sale in Canada.

Shot lots of it in Mini 14 and AR's, goes bang things fall over.

Yeah, I know it's American Cabela's.

It looks a lot like the MFS and Tulammo.

The blurb says this:

7.62x39 is loaded in the same factory, to the same specifications as Wolf ammunition previously carried by Cabela's, not to be confused with WPA now on the market. Imported.

So what is WPA?
