Herters turret press Pics added

I have this monster of a press made by Herters, cast iron......nice patina lol, Would it be worth my while to put it on the exchange or take it to the scrapper? I'll get some pics up of this monster.

They are a good press but take special shell holders.If you can find an adapter to regular shell holders it is still useful.

At one time RCBS listed an adaptor for the Herters press so their shellholders could be used.... not certain if they still do.

Don't scrap it, someone will want it. A lot of guys on the US forums like Cast Boolits collect these older tools.

I'd buy it off you if I was still in the Lower Mainland, but I am too far away to ship it now. Those buggers weigh a ton.

They are certainly a nice solid press though.

I have five Herter's Super Model 3's BTW.

I have a Herter's to with most of the shell holders and some Herder's dies.
RCBS still makes a adapter.
I't makes 200 rounds a year for me.
