I just bought a scope off the EE for a friend. It came with some half-decent windage adjustable rings I want to take off for my 22 before I send it my friends way, but I don't seem to have the right size hex key for the rings. (Scope is a bushnell Banner, but I have no idea if the rings came with it or not) I have two other sets of rings that take hex keys, and they are both a larger size than these rings.
My 3mm and 1/8" allen keys are too big, while 2.5mm and 3/32" are too small. Anyone happen to know what I might be after then? I have some other hex keys buried in an old tool box in a closet, but I'll probably just head to the store for a new one at this rate...
Anyone have a good guess at a hex key size that used to be used in rings that might fit the bill here? I thought I had all the common sizes of hex keys, I guess not so much... I would guess with something like a 7/64" or 2.75mm, but are either of these sizes even available? I guess at least one of them must be?
