I've been lurking the forms for a while now trying to soak up a little knowledge and I finally got around to applying for my PAL and RPAL last week, now I just have to wait for the paperwork to be finalized.
In the mean time I'm going to try and figure out what range I want to join in the Durham Region.
Ideally I would like something that offers both pistol and restricted rifle range to avoid the expense of joining two clubs. I think I'll be spending enough this year on a least a couple of firearms, ammunition as well as all the incidentals.
I'm going to try and visit as many clubs as I can in the next couple of weeks and hopefully I'll be able to talk to someone and find out just what they offer as well as the overall attitude of the club and it's members.
Anyway I hope to get the opportunity to meet a few members in my area eventually to go shooting with.
Cheers all.
