Hey from BC!

Hey everyone.

A little about me below (so you don't think I'm a bot :) ).

I am a BA Geography (GIS) student going into my 2nd year in September. I love snowboarding and have dabbled a bit into flying and possibly getting a PPL.

I haven't really done too much shooting in my life. .177 Air Rifle for a bit, but the biggest thing I've shot though was an Anschutz Biathlon .22.

Anyways I just randomly thought that I would sign up because I'm considering a PAL and possibly an RPAL eventually. I'm thinking of just shooting a few groupings here and there at a range on the weekends or something. A few of my many goals in firearm ownership is to go one day own an SL8 (It just looks so badass....), own and shoot the SKS, and AR15 (possibly shoot an M4 or M16 if I ever go to a shooting range in the US).

Hi L473ncy, welcome to CGN!
Here's my usual pitch:
If you're not already a member of the NFA and/or CSSA, please join. These firearms organizations work on our behalf to ensure that Canadians can keep and enjoy their firearms. They are our voice in Ottawa, and we need all the help we can get. Click on the links in my sig line for more information.
Again, welcome aboard.

Welcome! I saw the BC label and just had to follow up. I am in the Cariboo and been on this site for a couple of years. Tons of info here and lots of lively discussion.

Welcome :)

Consider a weekend course to get both PAL/RPAL... its good to just get them both done.

I went to Silvercore.ca here in the lower mainland - excellent course - but there are many other good places to go in BC / Alberta.
