It's early 70's with the grip safety in .32 win. What do you think its worth

I'm no expert but this one being a pre-64 Winchester sure adds some value. Bluing seems not bad at all but that chip on the fore-stock will take some value away. They're usually sold anywhere between $300 and $650 on the EE.

I can't believe all these posts, and only senoir has spotted that it is not pre 64!
I have to shake my head, when I see all the CGNs experts who have stated values about 50% over what they should be, for a post 64 32 Special, with a beat up fore stock.

Here is what an early 1940s Model 94 looks like, S/N 13358xx.
As well as the grip safety, as senior pointed out, look at the rear of the receiver. Two screw heads at an angle to each other, compared to the OPs, with a large screw head directly over a pin.

to add to what the other posters have said, the buttstock has been sanded below the metal at the tang, with that fore end damage I'd pay no more than $250 for,..and that's if it were in 30-30....the 32 Sp is worth less as a shooter IMHO...$200 tops.

Did it get traded in on the basis of it being a pre 64, Model 94?

yup I love ripping of gun store owners:rolleyes:. The negative people on this site, you guys make it a great place to come. To the people who actually helped me thanks, I'll have my tokarev soon. The gun store owners tracked it down to around a 72.The pictures really didnt do it justice. I know why people ask so much for their firearms on the EE now, cause guys on here wanna run you down:rolleyes:

they showed me this site
http://oldguns.net/sn_php/winmods.htm
it helps track the serials, some not exactly but close

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

So he gave you $375 on a trade-in for a another $500 gun that's actually only worth $300 MAX. So you walked out with $$$ in your hand or did he rip you off & you don't even know it :D

Check out Epps or Williams or Accuracy Plus for prices on post 64 beaters.
That's real life...& don't forget to drop their prices by the $25 or so bucks you can negociate down.

Here's an add for Tokarevs

When you ask on here for peoples opinions, you better not fudge the truth on what you are asking about.
You plainly stated it was a pre 64. Did you really think this, or did you know the truth and were attempting to hide the truth?
Don't run down those of us who tried to help you, after the way you treated the situation.
