Or how about a semi Bren ? ( cost prohibitive to manufacture I would think)

There's new semi-only Brens in the US.

All are rewelds as far as I know. It's acceptable in the US, but not here. Besides,it's unlikely that the US will allow export to here.

There is one company actually tooling new Brens, IIRC. Wiselite, maybe?

A semi-only M249 or M60 would be cool, but the parts kits start at $5,000, and then you still need a receiver!
