Great site, I always did my shooting with my Father but now that he has passed away I needed to get my own PAL to keep our firearms. I finished my non-restricted testing without the course and I was going to do the same with the restricted but I'm not sure I'm comfortable with a semi-auto handgun. My question is could I go to an arms dealer and just get a walk through on the actions(slide lock,magazine release, etc.) I just don't want to do the test without handling one in about fifteen years. Would anyone on the site be able to give me a walk through on this and even with a revolver so that I am more comfortable. I'm in the Kawartha Lakes region if this is possible. Thanks
