Hey first off, what a great site! I have been reading over our firearm laws, and they aren't as bad as Americans say. Hell in the peoples State of California it's even worse than here! Anyways, I believe I'm going to get my firearms ticket on the 25 of this month. My question is : Aprox. how long does it take from start to finish, and what is the process? When I was a young offender, I did get into trouble (as most teens do) But I believe my record is clean. Will young offender stuff cause a problem. (I'm now 26, on the 8th). For awhile I've had my eyes on a Mini14, but now I think I'm going to go with a Norinco M305 G1 rifle, if I can find one! Anyways any input on anything would be great, Thanks!

My license PAL and RPAL took 38 days from door to door but as far as i've figured I was one of the lucky ones. It seems to go quicker in alberta and west then it does in the ontario and quebec. Young offender stuff shouldn't effect you, I had a record as a youngster and it didnt effect mine.
Check the EE on this site for the norinco, you might have better luck here then in stores
