Hey Rick - I think it wants to shoot!

X-fan is dead nuts right.

If there is any wind, put up some wind flags and ensure each shot is taken with the flags at the same position. Not a big secret, you just don't see them used much. As you mentioned before, some stakes and orange marking tape work and are dirt cheap. Proper wind flags rule though.

If the weather would ever clear up I could get back out there but it's been rain and wind for the last few days. Only 6 degrees right now and too windy to make it worth while. That said, the bugs are in hiding - not like last week when I hit the range.

You poor soul,,,,,

I met up with Parker Hale Mike and crew yesterday at Nokomis (that range has wind that does some strange things)!

It was hovering about 30 degrees with a modest 5mph or so wind (which as anyone who has shot out there knows thats nothing for Nokomis). Good solid day of playing on the range with good company always makes for a good weekend.

Sorry to hear about your 6 degree weather:D

You need to get out to our range at Bethune. You want to see wierd things happen in the wind, that's the place!

Plus there are berms out to 500 meters and plenty of countryside beyond that.

Obviously work doesn't take you out of the Ivory Tower very much. Head out of town on 11 and you'll find it North of Lumsden. The range is at an undisclosed location North of there.

I'll have to blindfold you the first few times I take you there, until we decide if you're worthy!:D
