It has been interesting to see the results of such a large number of Russian SKS's flowing into Canada. You've got a lot of very jealous Yankees down here.

If it weren't for the current laws against importation down here, I'm afraid there would be a very real "invasion".

I go to Kentucky ( Knob Creek ) when I can & I have never met the so called " ugly American ". I did however meet many friendly, helpful people.

Almost had the opportunity to travel to a little town just northwest of Yellowknife, Rae-Edzo, to build a church. Our participation in the project fell through and I always regretted that.

I lived in Rochester, NY for 5 years and had several opportunities to venture over into Ontario, but NWT would have been a new experience.

I think that ultimately the reason our project fell through was because you just can't get from Oklahoma to Rae-Edzo.

Ya there are alot of remote places up north and they have the best hunting and fishing usually so it can be worth the ride.
