Heym Barrels

Anyone familiar with Heym Barrels?

Bits of Pieces in Delta BC stocks them as well as Montana Barrels. Just wondering what kind of reputation they have if any?

Heym make awesome, high quality rifles. I would suspect their barrels would be the same. I went to see Barry Jensen at his shop and he is a really nice guy. I would not hesitate to buy a Heym barrel, I think they are an excellent value. An interesting thing about Heym is that they build a nice safari version of their bolt action rifle...in .600 Nitro Express!

I have a Heym barrel on a Sako AV action, chambered in .340 Weatherby. It is very accurate.

I've had good experiences with their Montana bbls as well. Problem with the Heym's is that they are generally only available in Mauser 98 threadings - so you might be out of luck if you have a different threading.

They offer standard blanks. I also called and at the time they said they were fresh out of Heym Barrels in 9.3 (I'm building a 9.3x62) but they would be getting more in.

Heym = great barrels! Hammer forged they are still a work of art, you won't be disappointed

heym factory is not doing barrel ... they re Krupp a word to say the best barrel certainly ....
