HG105 hammer & sear question

Hi TI or CGN peeps,

I took apart my HG105 for a clean and noticed the "sear?" doesn't actually touch the hammer when it's cocked.
Just wanted to confirm that this is normal. I can't find any manuals or full disassembly videos for reference.

Are you referring to the disconnector, not the sear?

Um yes I think so?.. Does everything in there look correct?

Yes that's the Disconnector, if you pull your trigger while supporting the hammer and keep the trigger held down while pushing the hammer back this grabs it's to stop it from firing again.

What derek2007 stated is exactly correct - this is the same design/configuration as the tried and true (Stoner) AR uses. In your first picture the hammer and sear are in engagement.
