Hey there everyone, so I've been on the forum for a little less than a month as a registered member but I've been lurking in the bushes since back in March when I signed up for my Firearms safety courses (both). I'm down in the London area (that other part of Ontario that wants to split from the GTA)
My application has been processed and my little piece of plastic is on it's way... at 35 days to process I'm getting the indication my process was quick for the Peoples Republic of Wynntario based on what I'm getting from a few people.
May 21 - Mailed my application
May 25 - application received
June 11 - appeared online
June 12 - Amex charged
June 19 - My first Reference was contacted and interview completed
June 19/29 - Second reference received letter today from RCMP dated June 19 (she gave me the wrong cell# for her) asking her to call them.
June 29 - go online and see message "Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued. If you have not received your licence within 2 weeks please contact the Canadian Firearms Program Toll Free number. (1-800 731-4000)"
I'm looking forward to getting out shooting and am looking for the good places to shoot in SW Ontario, I'm looking at East Elgin as I've heard bad things from friends who went to the FUDD club in East London. So if anyone else knows of places to shoot let me know.
Other than that I'm also a Harley Davidson I ride a FLHTCU and drive a Dodge Ram 1500 Diesel pickup kind of guy...
