Hi Cal Has A New "Goodie" For The SKS...

Aye, second here.
One that mounts somehow to the takedown pin so it's at the very rear of the receiver increasing sight radius as well.

I had a tech sight. Once.

It seemed cheaply made, and wiggled a lot. My SKS was also an newer/ thicker receiver; so, with the way all SKS' are slightly different, I wouldn't trust it. Unless one also utilizes the stripper clip guide, a la wartack/magwedge rail, you cannot affix them securely enough to ensure accuracy after cleaning.

With this, like my CZ 858's old Rauch Tactical peep sight - you just adjust the front sight post and then
Loctite it: Simply idiot proof and undeniably practical.

As a second perk: One can keep the SKS 'original' but utilize an easier set of irons during use without attaching the kitchen sink.

I think that is the option that best appeals the most to me.

Cheers!
