I am just getting into the sport. Mainly target shooting but I do go hunting occaisionally with my buddies when time permits. I have my restricted PAL but do not own a firearm yet.

Welcome aboard. If you've got a way to get out to it, I highly recommend the Genesee range west of the city. Do a search on the Canadian Historical Arms Society. They run it. Great place, not too busy, very nice range.

I am on the far east side of the city so that range is a little far, but the price is definitely right!

Yea, it's a bit of a drive. I'm in the North East myself. 66st and 165ave area. I think it's about a 70km drive if I remember right. Not someplace you drop by after work, but it's worth it if you've got a bucket load of ammo and at least half a day to burn off
