Glad to have discovered this forum. Getting back into the shooting sports and reloading after a considerable absence. Would like to become active in BPCR and would appreciate hearing from Albertans - you're directly south of me - who compete or engage in fun shoots with BPCR. good shooting

What do you have in 45-70, assuming you do from your board name?

Hi Dorm thanks for the response. At the moment I have an 1895 Marlin lever and a Siamese Mauser bolt gun in 45-70. I'm hoping Santa will stop by and leave an 1874 Pedersoli Sharps in 45-70 or 45-90 in my sock within the next few weeks. My mauser seems to have taken up permanent residence with my son in Ontario but thats OK. He lives real close to the Elwood Epps store and they have all kinds of goodies :evil:

Are you a YKSC member? I've just renewed my membership after a lapse of 4 or 5 years. Originally joined in 97 when I moved to the knife. cheers

I moved here in '97 as well and have been a member ever since. I did the YKSC newsletter for three years and looked after the membership for two. We have probably crossed paths somewhere along the line. I missed the AGM so I need to renew and get a new key. I hate having to park at the gate and drag my gear to the firing line.
