What an interesting forum. I'm from North Bay ON. I only have my POL. I have been really considering getting my PAL and then my restricted. Joining a shooting range is the first thing to do I presume. Does anyone know of any shooting ranges in my area?

Welcome. This is a good site with helpfull people,, Im sure someone that lives near you will chime in and give you a good Idea about ranges close by. Get your NR license first and use the woods as your range untill you can get RPAL.

Welcome... the more the merrier! You won't "need" your range membership until you plan on shooting restricteds, but if you may want to join a range now as I understand there are long waiting lists is some places.
