Just wanted to introduce myself. I am a Canadian who recently moved to the UK.

Since coming to the UK I have missed a lot of what we take for granted in Canada (nature, relative safety, etc.). When looking into taking up shooting and possible hunting in the UK I have realized that laws here are simply too oppressive. I wish to return back "home" eventually and I have come here to start my education on shooting sports.

Even if some politicians are working hard at making shooting complicated here, it's still not as bad as elsewhere I suppose. Welcome to Gunnutz!
