Hi,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a hunter, fisherman, reloader and shooting enthusiast living in an area of B.C. which is one of the best hunting and fishing areas in B.C.

I have several guns, but this past year I hunted with a .300 ultra mag. I will be looking for something else to hunt with next season, as I've been pretty crippled up over the years and found my gun too heavy to pack around the bush.

I live on my ranch which has 185 acres. The ranch is located a long ways from the nearest town. I never have to drive anywhere to hunt, I just walk out my back pasture and am hunting. I can also start hunting the moment I leave the house! I am a taxidermist as well as break horses for a living.

There are a lot of Mule deer, Moose and some Big Horn sheep around my place.
 
welcome from wolverine. im a newbie to the site but old to guns -hunting,
lived in kitimat for ten years, know what you mean by not having to go to far.
now live in ont. travel is long distance for quality hunting . try remington 700 sps in
30.06,light gun ,dependable lots of power,killed many bears with one .
only takes one shot in the right place.

I'm a former BC'r (Prince George), but if you're looking for a hunting buddy I'll raise my hand now!!! :D

I use a 7mmRM and find it to be an all purpose take anything rifle.
