Hi all,

I have been shooting guns now for the better part of 35 years or so, left for a while, had other priorities, new wife, new house, kids, things like that. I try to go out shooting at least once a week, sometimes more. I was introduced to this site by a local friend of mine who has been on here for a while now. Seems to be the place to be.

I agree with you, it seems to be the place to be. You can find out about guns or laws, and if you require information on a firearm just ask. There are great guys on the site that can either answer your questions, or point you in the right direction.

I spent two years in Truro NS in the mid 70's and divided my time between NSAC and the Ponderosa Tavern close to a fried chicken resteraunt called Lick a Chick (No Joke). Three important things to a young guy out on his own for the first time, education, beer, & food. In that order.
Grew up on PEI and they didn't have draft beer, it was .25 cents a draft in 74 in Truro, then went to .30 or .35.

Great site and a great bunch of guys.

Thanks guys for making me feel welcome, a special thanks to shootingfiend from whom I purchased my first gun on here. He made me feel real comfortable on here and reassured me that most guys on here won't try and rip me off.

I don't know anything about Clare, but I know a guy who is from Weymouth, and has many relatives in Clare...eh?
