Hi
I am Zib from Hamilton On. I just got my PAL few days ago. I waited only 28 days. I will get soon my first rifle. It will be probable Savage Arms Mk II G bolt action .22lr. In Le Baron is for sale for $229. Any comments about this rifle? Next it will be SKS or Mosin Nagant something cheap to shoot. I am going to join a shooting club in Hamilton area.

The savage would be a good choice for a first 22. The Mk II BV is also a great choice if you want a heavy barrel - great accuracy out of the box and for the price.

Have you looked at BRRC (Burlington Rifle & Revolver Club) ?????

Great facility - 24hr, 365d access - indoor 50yd range - milti-discipline club.
