So I'm from Tomahawk AB.. We call it hatchet city. Just over a hour west of edmonton.
I have a 400 yard range out the back door but hope to extend it soon.
Still waiting patiently for my next big longrange boomer. I think once the boys are old enough to shoot I should have time and money.. I hope.
My current project is a 6.5 X 300 Win Mag. It is a Parker Hale 1200V I had rebored to 6.5 with a 1 in 7.5 twist. I plan to shoot Wildcat Bullets from 142 to 169.5 grains.. We're not sure the 169.5s will stabilize but I'll try it when I get there..
I also shoot a 204 ruger in a Savage 12VLP. My best group so far is a three shot measuring just under 0.4 center to center @ 322 yards.. Proably the best group I'll ever shoot but it is a goal to beat.
