I am a hunter and shooter from Maple Ridge BC. I am a regular customer at CGN sponser Wanstalls here in town.

Greetings from the Silver Ridge area as well! So what ranges do you all frequent? Just DVC myself for the time being.
 
Hey guys, another one in Ridge. I'm on 240th.
gcroteau, I'm a member at DVC too, I also joined Mission last week. Mission is great, 50 yrd pistol, 300 yrd rifle, and lots of trap.

Well bronco boy, I knew I liked your style. I'm a ridge boy too. As to ranges I belong to, I hate them all. Too many nerds saying one shot at a time. Mission can ef right off after stealing my $150 for 7 months. Is pro-rating that hard to calculate?
 
At the end of the day we all think the one shot rule is total bull$hit but ranges have their place....such as allowing me to own handguns! And sighting in bolt guns for hunting.

But I agree, they are not a lot of fun compaired to shooting "free"
 
Welcome from Ridge Meadows (heheh, is there such a place?) Go to Poco Club myself and never heard of a one-shot-at-a-time rule.

Not to step on the welcome wagon for the new member, and welcome ScottZombie, but the rifle range at Mission now has another rule that you can't fire centre fire at 25 yards...rimfire only at 25 yards by order of the "Rifle Chair". The 50 yard target stands have been removed so you now have to get your first shot on the paper at 100 yards.

I tried to sight in a cheap dot scope by firing into the berm and calling the impact but I only saw a couple hits out of the 15 or so rounds fired.

One more thing to be an irritation...

I am reconsidering my 2011 membership.
 
First Time

I"m new to this and computers. I"m an avid long time hunter and fisherman from Maple Ridge, British Columbia, have 50 plus years of hunting and fishing experience. Have been a member for a few months and enjoy the news and stories in your site. Keep up the great work with this website, thanks Karp2277.
 
Mission will never get my money again, unless they pull thier heads out of thier back sides. A nice case of the board turning it into a public club that they don't have to share. I'm sure membership would rise if they actually made changes in the right direction. I been shooting there with my dad for 25 years, it had ups and downs but in my eyes it's free falling out of popularity.
