Hi from Maple Ridge BC

Welcome. I'm from Maple Ridge as well.

I recently picked up an affiliate membership at Abbotsford Fish and Game. They have 4 ranges now (25 yard indoor, 100, 50, and 25 yard outdoor). They are certainly more laid back and friendlier than Mission. The only thing that keeps me shooting at Mission is the 300 yards and I have an AR-15. Otherwise I'm tired of the BS there.
 
Welcome. Wanstalls is great, glad to see you support the LGS. If Mission has you pissed, try Poco. Oh, it'll have you pissed too, but at least you can shoot semi's from a loaded mag.
 
I am a Maple Ridge Ex-pat. (124th + Laity). I loved it down there, but got sick of the pitt bridge and cape horn on the way to work.


Thompson Mountain (North Pitt Meadows) has a great gun club and range. No Single shot restrictions there when i was a member.

As an aside, I wonder how many of the Mission single-shot complainers have ever attended an AGM en masse to change the rules?
 
We shouldn't have to fight he coneheads than make the sigle shot rules, the board decided it's what they want so changing thier minds would be a waste of time, as pointless as asking for the status of ar's and pistols to be reversed.

Sadly very few actually show up to the meetings. I've been trying to get the single shot rule changed and try to introduce a separate service rifle discipline for the last year and a half. The executive drags their heels and everything seems to take forever. Oh well, the single shot rule doesn't come into effect much on weekday mornings when I shoot at MDRG. Most of the time I shoot at Abbotsford Fish and Game now.
