Hi folks,

I live in Scotland and have shot snce I was 14 (now 40 :eek: where has the time gone?????).

I shoot airguns mostly doing field target and hunter field target along with some pest control. I am just about to apply for my FAC so I can get some powder burners.

I am coming over to Toronto in a couple of weeks and was adviset to sign in here, so here I am.

Now off to do a search before asking some questions :D

To bad you're going to Toronto , the sh*thole of the universe . Nothing you'll see there represents the real Canada . Maybe post in ' General Discussions ' and tell folks when exactly you'll be here . Lots of ranges down in that area and someone will invite you out shooting .
 
Scotland, land of great shotguns, rifles and whiskey. I think that there is a Canadian law which decrees that if you are visiting from Scotland, you must bring at least one of the above mentioned items as a token of good faith.

atr, the reason I'm going to Toronto is to see Rush and thought I would take an extra couple of days off, to far to come for one night :D.

I will post when I'm coming over, would be fun to get a bit of shooting in.

Sharptail, Some lovely guns over here, the problem comes trying to travel with them and as for the Whisky, You can get it cheaper in Canada than I can here :mad: where's the sense in that???

Could have taken you out to the range.

My dad's from Johnshaven, Mom he met in Aberdeen.
My cousins live in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee and I try and get over every 2-3 years.
