Hi All,

I found this site doing random searches on the internet. lol. I am in the midst of finally getting into somthing I have always wanted to... Guns. I have had little experiance(Shooting my friends 12ga and .22 in Rosedale, ON) but always had a love for guns. To date I have nothing. haha. I am looking to get my licences soon. I have access to hand guns through a uncle who is taking me shooting TOMORROW yah!! My first experience will be a 44 magnum and a 357.... I am excited... I like the knive section here too. That is another thing that has always facinated me. I have a Spyderco that has been on my hip for 15 years at least.

I am 31 living in London and am working in Logistics/Customs (Private sector).

Welcome Civicbam and as you will undoubtably soon discover,you are amidst the finest fraternity Canada has to offer,IMHO.The wealth of knowledge that is shared by "gunnies" may humble.

There are some real nice and helpful folk here, I think you can learn alot indeed.
I know I have.....

There are many schools of shooting and many different styles of arms dating from 1600's matchlocks to present day semi autos.

Wherever your imagination leads you theres a gun to fit your mood and be your companion!!

Hi. Take Brother Stormbringer's invite seriously. It's about a 40 minute drive, but the people are friendly and the faciities are top notch.
How you deal with a .44 Mag depends on the load and how well the revolver fits your hand. .44's can be loaded down.
 
Finally went shooting last night for the first time... Went to a range in Glencoe, ON with my fiance's uncle.

First gun shot... 44 Magnum. It was pretty awesome. The club gave me 20 .22 rounds and a club browning so I shot that too. :runaway: :sniper:

He has a 357 also but it was getting late so I didnt get a chance to shot that one....
