i am looking for a good all around range where i can shoot both my pistol and have at least a 500m rifle range. a skeet club would be an asset but not nessesary. any recommendations??? closer to oromocto the better too. i'm willing to make some drive but shorter is better obviously. thanks in advance for any help!!

The Fredericton Trap & Skeet Club on the Hanwell Road (in Fredericton) is the nicest shotgun range in NB!

Hi, welcome to NB man. If you like to hunt you've just entered heaven. There are only 2 long range clubs in the area. One is the Springfield club 40 minute(from Oromocto) drive to the Mactaquac area past F'ton (1000m range) and i think there is a 600m range out Wirral/Hoyt area(25 min drive from Oromocto). Both nice drives.
I belong to the Lake George Gun Club(100m) and its 20min drive from my place in F'ton. Good bunch of guys and gals but its a short range. CFB Gagetown is POLLUTED with moose!

thanks for the help everyone. i've heard mactaquac is good but it is a long drive. i think i might join there and at the fred. trap and skeet club. i guess you can never get enough of a good thing but it's good to change things up a bit. oh and scrubfox, i don't know how much time you spend out there but i'm in the training area a lot. get down by blue mountain for the best moose hunting. that whole southern area is awsome. good luck and thanks again everyone
