Hi Peeps,


I'm an avid hunter who just wrote his RPAL, I am thinking about getting into competitive handgun shooting. I have shot many times before at a range with a friends pistols and he has encouraged me to pick it up, says I'm a better shot than he is and he shoots twice a week. What ever... I have fun doing it so we'll see.

What pistol(s) would you all recommend for a beginner?

.22 are fun for plinking and cheap to shoot. Try out as many different pistols as you can and see what you enjoy. Welcome aboard.

I agree with tiina, get a .22 and then work from there. Cheaper to shoot and own (at first anyways).
