I got my first Cooey .22 single shot 38 years ago. Have since owned several shotguns & centrefire rifles. Brought up on a farm with guns (tools) standing ready in the corner.

Enjoy target shooting, not into hunting (killed so many animals on the farm), not anti-hunting either.

Raise Highland Cattle. Love to fish.

Always admired pistols & milspec rifles, now fulfilling a longtime ambition to own both.

Presently own:
Ruger 22/45 Mark II Hunter, Stainless 6 7/8" fluted barrel, fibre-optics. (one trip to range)

Ruger 10/22 synthetic, blued barrel (not yet fired)

Buying this week:
AR-15, probably Armalite M15A2

Shopping for:
9mm pistol (CZ SP-01 or Sig 226)

Member of two hunting/fishing/shooting clubs.

Wow. And good taste in the restricteds.

Armalite is excellent as is CZ.
Lots of people here that are into the black rifles, and into handguns. They can answer alot of questions that you will have.
