Hi Folks,
Fingers Muldoon here. I am new to the site, pretty new to Canada (an ex-Pat Brit), but no stranger to rifle & pistol shooting.
I have owned firearms of various types since I was about 18 (cars still ran on steam then
). Before the ban on pistols in the UK I was the proud owner of a Walther PPK, a custom S&W Mod 66, a S&W Mod 39, a Bersa Target Pistol and a wonderful Colt Trooper. Once the pistol ban was sorted I ended up with an M1 Carbine, a fantastic CZ 527 American in .223 and a superb CZ 452 Shilouette.
I spent 22 years as a Firearms Safety Instructor with the local police force where I was a reserve (made Sgt a few years before we emigrated).
Since moving here I have sat the CFSC for non-restricted, sat the Hunter Safety Course, and am booked on the CFSC for restricted, and have made the aquaintance of a cracking set of new shooting buddies at the local gun club.
I currently own a superb Weatherby in 308, a nice little Remington .22 semi auto and a few little odds and sods. Cant wait to let the Weatherby loose on the Whitetail this fall.
