It looks cool, such a training course may be useful to many. If I decide to become a hunter, I will take such a course.

You don't need to be a hunter to take advantage of the course. It's a good way to learn more about using your Kestrel, fly in a helicopter and shoot ELR.

The only challenge from my point of view is budget. I don’t know Rob, but I know someone who does, and I think highly of that gentleman. If you have the $$$ and enjoy shooting, this is better than some all inclusive Mexican beach drunk.

So how does this work, are they on private land or just crown land?

Not sure about the land use, but they take you up in a helicopter and you shoot out into the forest. Would recommend a .300 Norma Magnum or .338 Lapua Magnum as they have targets out to 2400 or 2600 can't remember.

Has any one taken the precision rifle 1 course ? I really want to go, but is it worth 1k in take away experience.

Ive taken all the courses and the high angle course. You will tske something away from every level. Go with an open mind. These guys have taught alot of people to shoot better, and lots of friends I have made through the courses are very good shooters and outstanding dudes.

I’ve taken levels 1,2 and 3. Most fun I’ve had in years and like others have stated before me; you’ll gain knowledge from every course. Long range shooting is like a drug, just more expensive.
