So I have a gear / optics question, but I'll get to that. There I was, on my pseudo range in NE BC, practicing with my TRG-22 and my S.A. Black Special....both of which are now outfitted with NF NXS scopes (both mildot, 8-32 and 3.5-15 respectively). I think to myself, damn.....these optics are bright and clear, even compared to my astro scopes and my dads Swarovski spotter. Then as I pound a mag through the swiss and notice the dust flying beneath the bullet path I remeber my safety glasses are still in the truck.....safety glasses.....
Is it really worth buying the nice, clear tac-sharp rifle optics.....if you shoot safely and look through no coated, typically plastic distorting lenses anyways? And my gear question is....short of buying a clear lens Oakley $$$ (anzi rated and super clear) are there other ultra clear options for glasses that will allow me to reap the benfits of my NF scopes?
